Ceiling Fan With Light
Ceiling fans with lights are an excellent way to enjoy both air circulation and light in one package. They are especially useful in small bedrooms, since you can simply replace the centre light with an all-in-one fan and light unit. The light is operated using the existing light switch, while the fan speed is regulated with a remote control.
Ceiling Fan Only Without Light
Ceiling fans only without lights are ideal for big rooms that have plenty of natural light. They create a look that is pleasing to the eye and don’t stand out too much. In larger areas, using a fan with a light can be overpowering. Instead, it is better to choose a fan only that will blend in with the environment and compliment the space.
Remote Controlled Ceiling Fan
Remote controlled fans are a great, versatile option that give you more placement options around your home. They are often used in retro-fitting situations where there is limited access. These fans can easily be tapped into existing power sources, eliminating the need to rewire or cut holes in walls – saving you money.
Instead of using a hard wired switch, the fan speed can be easily and conveniently controlled by a remote. Installation is simpler and more affordable due to this added feature. Simply store the ceiling fan remote next to the light switch for an equivalent effect.
Ceiling Fan Blade Options
Ceiling fans come in a variety of sizes and shapes, ranging from three blades to nine blades. Both three and four blades are the most popular, three creates the look of an airplane propeller and four provides a more symmetrical appearance.
Ceiling Fan Colours
When it comes to selecting a ceiling fan, there are five main colours available: black, bronze, natural, silver, and white. White is typically the most popular choice, as it blends seamlessly with the ceiling paint, creating a larger, more open-feeling space. This is especially beneficial for rooms with lower 2.4m ceilings, as the white hue contributes to the illusion of increased size.
Blade Size & Type
Ceiling fans are available in a variety of sizes, ranging from 122cm to 203cm. You have multiple material options such as ABS, plastic, wood, and metal. The smaller 122cm fans are better suited for bedrooms, while the larger 132cm models are more appropriate for living and outdoor areas.
The extra large sizes of 203cm fans are ideal for larger spaces, offering extra cooling power and making a great statement piece.
